Looks like a normal large date coin. Normal weight is 3.11 grams +/- .13 grams mint tolerance.

The devices look a bit smaller from a die polishing, but it is as mention a normal 1970-S large date. On this year there are some DDO's on the '70' digits. So a clearer image of those devices might show us something more?

Welcome. Many chance encounters with chemicals can discolor coins. There are even youtube videos showing how to make "gold" and "silver" pennies deliberately.

So as long as the weight is OK, its not a planchet from another coin being used (if that idea comes up ).

I agree, normal large date. Looks like a few die chips on the reverse.

I was hoping for the best, but the coin is not a DDO. Just this year had the DDO's like that on all three mints. Why? Not sure why just that one year?
