The coins need to come out of the flips for photos. What I do see looks okay.

BH1964, I agree completely with their needing to be removed from holders. I'll have them tomorrow and shall do just that. Appreciate your time and scholarship.

And they look legitimate here, but after you get them, a good soak in 100% acetone is a recommendation to see how much gunk could come off. Q-tips could help move off even more gunk if needed. To your last point, after if you can see more detail with hopefully removed gunk, the bestest website for Morgan varieties is by far vamworld.com, since there is a possible O/CC over-mintmark on the 1900-O, and the 1888-O has a number of special vams to check out.

Mrwhatisit, thank you for the help. Acetone would not decrease the coin in value, rendering it a cleaned coin?

Agree, much better pics needed, and one coin per thread would be best.

Acetone is chemically incapable of altering the metal in any way. It would be like if you spilled Pepsi on a coin, if you rinsed it off and patted dry with a cotton cloth, you have not cleaned the coin - you just removed a foreign substance.

In the hobby the hobby, the term cleaning means altering the metal even on a microscopic level like the scratches that can result from wiping the coin.

The last two images appear to be an 1883 obverse and a C3/ C4 type ( no mint mark) reverse which was not used until 1900 at the Philadelphia mint and in 1901 at the New Orleans mint.

You may be looking at an 1883-O and 1900-P?
