The left top part on the last t? Is that sarrif not split? And the doubling on the s & u ? That's what I was using John1 the same page as you supplied. I guess I got too excited and didn't look at it right. So I take it it has to look exactly like the pictures?

Yes,if it is that particular doubled die in that die state.
There are many types of doubling to learn. I do not remember if I recommended this site to bookmark or not;https://koinpro.tripod.com/Articles...Doubling.htm

Note the affect on the coin is on the outside edges of the devices. Note on the centers of the devices like a doubled die would be affected:
Kennedy-Half-Dollar-1974-D-DDO?-What-Do-Ya`ll-Think?
Note the 'R' on trust? Incuse mark in the center of the 'R' is spread on that device. That is part of the DDO. The spread causes the devices to be enlarged.

Machine doubling only alters the outsides of the devices, removing the contour of the devices.

Yeppers coop I see it. Thx buddy. That pic will go in my info file to reuse. But I can only see it because of the marks to go with it. I've seen some y'all talk about with no lines or split sarrifs that I just cannot see. But that's because y'all have been doing it so long. Maybe I'll get there before I'm on the wrong side of the dirt. Haha
