As the doubling is always toward the periphery and is not shelf-like in appearance, then I'd sooner think this is DDD. For me at least neither would add to the value. As my name implies in a Noob at looking for collectible coins and because of your quick replies I now know not only do I need to look for doubling but the correct kind. I still want to find that DD that is still unknown to the community but now know what is DD, or MD and now there's coins that may fool me at first is DDD.
