Can we link to outside photo hosting sites? The 300kb limit thing tend to wash out the color & detail: https://ibb.co/0GxGHjG

AU55 straight grade if the big auction house sent it in.
If some smuck Joe Collector sent it in, it received the AU Details Cleaned plastic tomb.
Edited to add —— and I wouldn't part with it for anything less than AU 53 straight grade money if I was having to sell it! Try to find a way to keep it if at all possible! Good luck!

AU-53 Straight Grade People seem to have a harder time judging contact marks on AU coins in my opinion.

I'm in at AU53 I can also see AU50 but PCGS chooses that grade so rarely.

I can't see this higher than an AU-50.

Drum roll ... Under the microscope it shows show subtle contact marks, probably from the cloth in a pocket, but no signs dipping or cleaning. It's already bid up to $510 on ebay.

Looks correctly graded to me. Contact marks inline with a lower AU Coin . The luster is in line with a AU-53 around the devices and low spots on the coin. If it had a little more luster in the field it would be 55 .

I'm going to have to post some coins that actually have been cleaned, just to mix things up.
I spoke to someone from NGC at a coin show a few years back about which kinds of surface changes result in a "cleaned" detail grade. There's some spectro-chemistry involved, the details of which I have since forgotten. But I also remember him saying that the "cleaning" created by pocket carry never elicits a details grade, as this is in evidence in a large portion of submitted coins. He said it is quite easy to tell the difference between a coin that has been wiped clean, and one that has gradually lost oil, tarnish & residue to the dabbing action of a pocket in motion.
