This is one of those coins that is so common and worth so little, one would have to wonder why anyone would make a fake version.
It would probably be not worth the time, trouble or materials.
While this specific coin appears to be genuine, they can and do make fakes. Specifically, "Feng Shui" fakes, for decorative purposes. The people who make Feng Shui replica coins have persuaded the true believers that buying "new" coins is better than buying "old" coins, because the "old" coins might have old spirits still attached to them.
Many non-specialist dealers, who can't tell the difference, often lump together the fakes and genuine coins in a single "Chinese cash coins - $2 each" bowl.

Thanks, I was looking for ancient coins. I'm not very good identifying them. I wasn't to worried about the price nor the value. Just a good seller for ancient coins. I bought a crusader coin from them, but they only had a stack not showing them individually. Will show pictures when I get it.
Frankly, I don't think this seller sounds like a "good seller for ancient coins". "Good sellers" wouldn't sell a $1 coin for $7.
If you're new to ancient and mediaeval coins, I'd recommend avoiding
ebay for now. There are simply far too many people selling fakes, or genuine but overpriced coins.
