@coin, I can't tell if the apparent doubling is coming from glare from your lighting. Can you please add a new pic with the light filtered through tissue paper or the like? Thx. Added: If it is a DDO, then it looks like it might be this one: http://www.varietyvista.com/01b%20L...2PDDO001.htm

If you can match die markers, then that is a very good DDO find. John1

Thank you everyone for your input! After inspecting it for a while and comparing it with doubledies website, I've concluded that it is the 1982 DDO FS-101. Now do you think it's worth grading? I think it is a RB maybe AU? Thoughts would be appreciated. Merry Christmas!

I agree, an excellent RPM DDO and a very tough one to find, looks like it is in VEDS as well.Definitely 2x2 worthy Quote: How you you tell it's a nice rpm Just a typo like yours: How you you tell... I meant DDO. Had a little too much Fggnog

How you you tell it's a nice rpm when we don't even have a photo of the mintmark? We ask that you always show us the whole coin, both sides please.

That's a nice DDO-001 coin, and hard to find in any grade. But the coin posted isn't really in a condition to make it worthwhile to get it slabbed. You'd probably want it to be at least MS 64 just to get your money's worth out of the process. Your photos clearly show the DDO, so no need for a slab to prove it should you ever wish to sell it. I'd just 2x2 it and keep it safe.

Agree with John on putting in an airtight instead of a 2x2. I personally put any Zincon that I want to hang onto for a while in an airtight.
