Have seen an awful lot of tapered planchets recently and wasn't going to post anymore, but this one is a nice grade and shows the error fairly well. 1944-S Lincoln Wheat cent mint error - tapered planchet 2.90g   |

Surprising how many of those you come across. I've never found one but that coin remains me of one I have written off as a Greaser. I may have to go back and double check the weight. Nice coin! |

Thanks folks! But really, I think I've carded five more tapered planchets, a rolled thin and a rolled thick planchet since the last one of these I put up. It really is just too many to post them all.
