They both are worth more than face. The folds take away from the value though.

The 1934 D is about XF with all the folds. I would say around $25-$35

The 1934 A - from FRB of San Francisco is the same about XF, about the same amount $25-$35.

If you sell them on ebay maybe get a little more, sell them to a coin shop will get a little less.

I like them and would be happy with both if they were in my collection.

Welcome to CCF.
The real value lies in that they were once your grandfathers notes. Put them in quality currency sleeves and enjoy them as being handed down from family.

100% what SteveInTampa said. And if family history just isn't your thing, one of your kids or cousins would surely love them for the connect with your grandfather. A few 1934 notes and a handful of low value coins is all I have of my grandfather. I never got to meet him, but I've always been told we are two peas in a pod, and I treasure them for this link to my past. Thee have his fingerprints and tell a story of him that is worth more than $50-$70 and can't be replaced later with something else.

Nice looking notes. As the value isn't significant, though, I'd hang on to them - my grandparents have all been gone for decades, and I find the older I get the more I treasure the few things I have that had belonged to them.

Thank you everyone. And thank you for saying what value you thought they're .! :) I don't know anything about bills . And how they grade condition of the currency just figured I'd ask didn't want to send them out to be graded . I didn't have any intent to sell them . Going to keep them because they mean more then anything to me . just didn't want them to be worth a lot and do anything to mess them up . Also have a 20$ 1934 as well . Just wanted to ask what people thought and what they thought condition was . I was just surprised to find them and how cool they're. A piece of history that'll be passed down when my son gets old enough .

. I agree with putting them in mylar sleeves and keep them along with a note about them being from your grandfather. I do not think you should send them in for grading though.
