1995 D 1c text RIM mostly on Rev some on oB. Found in change. Value and name of error or this kind of issue. I think it's worth something. Working on studying this coin collecting.

But the letters are mirrored. So it came from another coin, not from the die.

@hodr, one thing that would help to resolve the issue of what you have there is to know whether the letters on the rim are in use or proud. Do they stick up above the surface of the rest of the rim?

Unfortunately, given the images posted, I'm not seeing any discernable letters on the rim. I do see what appears to be circulation dings and hits. Suggest posting two or three large and sharp pics of the rim, taken end-on at a slight angle. Don't rule out Pareidolia, yet.

they do seem to be letters to me, but no way to discern the orientation of them. (backwards or normal). Would like to see a nice full coin image of the reverse (and obverse) In GOOD focus if you please.

Thank you for answering the question it's good to see that the images reverse quite awesome might say. I did my best with the lighting I have 4 some pictures, I did different lighting to subject area. Picture looks bad it than what it actually is1995-D-1c-Text-On-Rim-Ob/R

If they were done by the die, they would not be mirrored. This does happen:

But note the devices are raised and not mirrored. (Not incuse like the transferred devices from a coin)
