I should have held onto the duplicates for longer.

Well that's a bummer, the 2022 proof Morgan/Peace were about the only Mint coins I was interested in this year. This morning I decided to enroll in the 2022 silver proof women's quarters set, glad I did.

That's a bummer! I'm surprised they couldn't allocate 300,000 to 400,000 planchets considering how much other crap they produce that barely sells...

That stinks! I was looking forward to having a 2022 Peace dollar to pair with the 1922 from my Grandfather, who was born in 1922 and therefore would have been 100 this year. Not cool.

This is great IMO...less money to spend. But the items are still on the schedule? They should just discontinue all together - there is no significance of 2022 or 2023.

Good news. The debacle of 2021 will have one less opportunity in 2022. I did not seek them last year and had no interest this year. This gives the mint one less thing to deal with.

Isn't it wonderful we can all love or hate certain coins, to each their own!

I was looking forward to the proofs. Probably means I will not order anything directly from the mint this year.
Mint year over year sales numbers are going to be way down this year. There are not really any highly anticipated coins coming out unless I missed something.

My own personal reasons aside, I would have enjoyed seeing proper proof (and not proof-like) examples of these two dollars. That will have to wait until next year.

Someone forgot to tell whoever schedules for the mint. The proof peace and Morgan dollar are still at the bottom of the 2022 product schedule. I'm sure they will get the memo sometime this year.

Very disappointed in this news. I too was looking forward to the Proof coins. You never know, they might change there mind again and come up with some extra planchets .

Yep, I just got that email in my inbox. I'm personally not too terribly disappointed but I know this will probably come as unwelcome news to many.

Disappointed in the news overall. That said, it's one less thing I have to worry about trying to get online in the mad dash. I'm already on subscription for the ASEs, so I'm pretty much set this year except for the Liberty medal.
