The cent has Abraham Lincoln Cent has Abraham Lincoln on it and the movie poster has has a figure of Abraham Lincoln on it. They are supposed to be the same person. Our ability infer patterns, draw inference and project possibilities puts homo-sapiens at the apex of the intelligence pyramid. The images of Lincoln, Washington, Kennedy, etc,. on our coinage and stamps is first and foremost iconic and artistic representations. I shudder to think Honest Abe would be offended by being compared to a fictional character after having visited Antietam in 1862. They were clearly made of stronger stuff than most of us are today.
