This is not a circulated coin. Super beautiful.
I'd say at least MS64. I could cheat and do some sleuthing on PCGS's website, but that would spoil the fun!!

This coin does not look circulated; the mushy detail for reverse denticles, eagle's breast, and some obverse stars can all be attributed to typical strike weakness. Only potential defect I see is the color. This bluish tone can develop after cleaning or might be judged as artificial or "questionable". If PCGS didn't see a problem then MS-64 seems very possible. Killer coin, worth $50K+ if problem-free.

I'll say gem 65. Looks a lot like the Pogue gem 66 specimen.

I like it at 58 as there is a tough of wear on Liberty's shoulder, but my guess for PCGS is MS63.

Just wow. Wow wow wow. I honestly could see this in gem, but I think it holds at 64 for me. I'm almost certain this isn't circulated. PCGS may have detailed it, but if they did I would pick it up in a heartbeat. AT or not this is too nice to pass.

Do you own this?  Absolutely fabulous die break. These were rarely struck at full strength and I'm pretty sure this is an uncirculated coin, probably MS64. Even at AU58 it would probably fetch $40k in the current marketplace. More likely it's worth $60-$70k.

Thanks for your opinions so far. This is a strange coin indeed, as it is not a clear problem coin (the AT designation seems inconsistent at best with PCGS and NGC, given the coins that I have seen with that designation), yet it's greenish blue hues and weakness in luster (the reverse is better than the obverse) raise questions. I personally love the detail on it, and think that despite any weakness in the strike, the detail is still VERY strong compared to some AU and MS draped bust dimes out there. We still have another day before I reveal it.
