A new purchase as I'm a sucker for soapbox holders. The obverse is quite dull with the reverse having a small touch of luster remaining.

I don't see full top feather separation in the eagle so it looks vf35 to me but I suppose many of these end up in xf40 holders these days.

Agree with N/S, looks 35 but probably makes 40 these days.

Yep, a tad too much wear for a 40, so 35 for me also ...

This is a VF35 I think. It's a little too worn for 40.

Agree with VF-30. Nice original collector coin, but the value doesn't really justify the grading cost. Of course, someone else already paid that bill!
