I found this 1960 dime with a rounded off edge and I'm new to coin collecting. I haven't found any information on this specific coin. Could anybody give me information on it or let me know if it's worth anything at all? Thank you in advance!

That is what is known as a Dryer Coin.
Put it on top of another dime and it
should be slightly smaller in diameter.
It is still worth 10 cents though.

Actually, it might be a little bigger than a regular dime, I think it is in a bezel. Looks like plating chipping off around the edge.

With current image its difficult to call it one way or the other. Being a (90% silver era) 1960, it worth a bit more than 10 cents. Thanks, Doug.

Silver melt, cash it in. The coin as a collectable is now less than melt value.

Not a Dryer Coin, but nevertheless altered/damaged outside the Mint.
Error coin writer and researcher.
