So this is another "rescue" from the coin jar! At first I thought it was a striking issue, but that would be on both sides of the coin correct? I'm assuming this is another jack-leg with too much time on their hands, they just bought a dremel tool and the first thing they saw was this poor quarter?

Or it was stuck in some kind of machinery.

I realize we're only supposed to post 1 coin per topic, but this '65 Washington is in the same realm! Now this one, aside from the circulation damage, looks like there may be a strike issue, or someone put in a vice, the diameter is a bit larger than a '67 that was laying next to him? Both sides seem to be affected, with obverse showing much more

On the obverse, it obviously looks like PMD. The reverse is a bit strange because the rims are full and unscratched, while the center is incomplete. Probably a dremel tool job...

Both coins are heavily damaged, either through circulation, purposeful defacement, or interaction with moving machinery. Both are worth face value.

That's what I figured on the 1st coin for sure, but that 2nd one had me discombobulated
