1933 D 1c 1DO-001 EDS.
(Yep, with "ugly" toning.)

I can only assume this must be fairly hard to find variety as there are no DDOs for 1933 D at V V or D D.
Coinage was almost at a standstill in 1933 because of the Great Depression that started in 1929. No nickels, dimes, or quarters. (1.7 mil halves, and only a couple handfuls of $10 eagles and St. Gaudens double eagles from Philly.)
Here's a link to CC

The thickness of the obverse devices is fsirly strong in all obverse devices. There even seems to be some notching which I can't image well. The toning is also difficult to get to show up with my setup.

Looks MS and the toning is very nice and pleasing in hand but seems to be "not natural", as some of us like to say.

Enjoy and thanks for any insight or comments.

Boy all I can say is that is a really nice strike on this coin. Lots of definition on everything from the strike.

coin looks like it is in very nice condition

look like extra thickness.
plus you captured one die marker that is listed on cc.

i think you got it.

pictures are a little blurry and sometimes high glare.

the obverse full picture is more blurry on LIBERTY compared to the DATE.
i think the camera is tilted.

one thing I dont like about my camera is it always seems to focus more on the highest point. so I use manual focus.

Petespockets55,
Any chance you can filter your light source?

Thanks for the looks and for adding comments.
My new (6 weeks) Duraforce II phone is really inconsistent. (Couldn't possibly be the operator. LOL) All these images were taken with it and it was difficult to eliminate glare and keep enough light to make it visible. I tried a regular piece of copy paper over the light with no difference that I could tell.
I got a new scope. Maybe I'll break it out again and see I can do.
