I'm not seeing that diagnostic die chip on this coin though. Am I missing something? Dearborn Moderator United States 95805 Posts	Posted 05/21/2022 6:08 pm Even though the 'scrapes' are going at the wrong angle, and are only on the field of the reverse, I think it maybe Feeder Finger Damage. I say this because the damage goes right up against the wheat stalk and the E . P and also the O of one without any damage to them at all. It won't be a Retained Cud until the die spreads a bit: How is this an eventual process? As the die crack spreads deeper into the die, that affected area starts allowing movement of the Retained Cud. It won't be a Die Cud until that area breaks away from the die: CoopHome: When die a rim to rim die crack become a Retained Cud. How does a die show a Die Cud?
