@gros, by definition, a BIE must include a die chip between the B and E of LIBERTY. I'm not seeing that diagnostic die chip on this coin though. Am I missing something?

Even though the 'scrapes' are going at the wrong angle, and are only on the field of the reverse, I think it maybe Feeder Finger Damage. I say this because the damage goes right up against the wheat stalk and the E . P and also the O of one without any damage to them at all.
I do not see any BIE on the obverse at all for the reasons as stated by Spence

Correct on the FFD on the reverse. (This doesn't add a premium, but that is what is going on the that reverse die)

Now that I am looking at the rev, anyone else seeing a Retained Cud on that right wheat stalk?

Just a rim to rim die crack so far. It won't be a Retained Cud until the die spreads a bit:
1955-S-Question-About-The-BIE-Error
How is this an eventual process? As the die crack spreads deeper into the die, that affected area starts allowing movement of the Retained Cud. It won't be a Die Cud until that area breaks away from the die:

CoopHome: When die a rim to rim die crack become a Retained Cud. How does a die show a Die Cud? The Cud is the end of the life of that die, so only a few examples are created.

Looks similar to LDB4-1955S-017 as listed on cuds-on-coins, it also has a Cohen number 55S-BA143. Here is the link http://cuds-on-coins.com/ldb4-1955s-2/
