I would like to ask your opinions of this 1858 H10C with inverted date.

The coin is partially lustrous, totally devoid of any cleaning marks or hairlines, and has some multicolored toning.

My pictures is unable to show the luster, but that is due to my poor photo skills. It is actually quite a nice little coin.

A close-up of the date would help

very nice looking coin, low - mid au would be my guess with the current photos
I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set | Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better?

I believe the date was punched upside down and then repunched right side up. I would say MS62

Agree that is an inverted date but guessing at the grade.
I'll say AU58

Here's an image of FS-302, courtesy of NGC. Somebody was hitting the sauce at the mint that day. Looks like a lovely example but I'm not qualified to grade it.

Thank you all very much for your comments, and to @kbbpl and @Fayette1800 for their explanations about this variety.

I was curious what you all thought about the grade, but also about whether you think this coin has been cleaned (ie, a 'details' coin).

As a side note, I found this coin, as well as this lower grade example unattributed in Europe many years ago. I myself did not notice the inverted date until many years later.
