The seller's Mom apparently owned this coin purchased from Jack Beymer. Thoughts? Thanks!

It appears genuine with light cleaning that left most of the surfaces intact. Looks like it was a well struck piece with honest, even & moderate wear. I'd call it a Fine although some might say VG.

Nice circulation cameo. I don't think it has been cleaned. No adjustment marks, a decent strike.
I think this gets into a VF20 holder no problem.

Makes me miss my 1800 that I had to sell to pay medical bills.

Good looking example, with a nice circulation cameo. The strike is a little bit soft. The obverse looks right on the VG-10/F-12 bubble, but the reverse looks to be a solid F-12. I'd grade it as a price haggler. If I'm buying, it's a bourse floor VG, if I'm selling, it's a bourse floor F, with a deal somewhere in the middle.

It's a solid pedigree coming from Jack's shop. His coins are wonderful, but his prices make for some numismatic arm wrestling.

Overall good looking example. I'm at a solid F12, won't argue F15. I've seen worse make it into VF holders. Curious what the purchase price by the sellers mother and how long ago?

Seems like a solid F-12 example. Better than most.

This came in. It weighs 26.33g and is 40mm in diameter so it didn't fit in my Morgan dollar sized holder. Thoughts? Thanks!

I'm still at the VG-10/F-12 bubble, maybe leaning a bit more to net F-12. This is a great looking coin!

Nice Score!
