The die design/collar prevents a wave from happening. If there is a wave, it is just post strike damage. See this and know it happened after the strike. Even Machine Doubling can produce waves: Why does this happen after the strike with the wave affect from Machine Doubling? The die/collar prevents a wave from happening.
