1980 D Dime Doubled Die Obverse / DDO Or Not?

This is one of the multi hub coins showing die wear and slight Machine Doubling. Note the devices are moving towards the rim, that is what you are seeing. So this die was polished several times in the past. (Probably 2-3 times before) But at the 3rd-4th polishing the devices are now moving towards the rim and being distorted. But they do even get worse: Even Single squeeze dies can have this distortion as the dies ages Other times we see a distinct year that has poorly struck coins: So knowing what we are seeing, helps us move on to the next coin to see what there is out there to discover.
