As asked I'm posting all my inherited coins as separate threads for grading. Also, I'm not a coin collector, so it would be helpful if I could get a dollar amount estimate to go along with the grade.

The 1834 Capped Bust half dollar is high grade at about AU53. The bust half is worth about $350. This is probably the most common of the coins you have shown us, but still very collectible.

Agree AU-50/53. Common issue, wonderful original condition, but dark spot behind the ear detracts. I would value it at closer to $250.

the is the small letters variety. virtually no difference in price than the large letters. I have this one at AU53. I would value it about $350.

1834 is the most common year for higher grade half dollars. This one isn't high grade, and is extremely common in this condition. The variety is the O-109 at a rarity of R-1, 1000+ known examples, very common. Typical weak strike for this issue, seen in the eagle's left wing, eagle's head, stars on the obverse, and the slight flatness of Miss Liberty's cheek. Slightly weaker strike than average on this specific coin. Even though the large/small date and large/small stars have equal value in the marketplace, I see the small date and small letters more often.

Still, this coin is completely original, and affordable for the modest type collector. I put a grade of XF-45 on this coin, and a value of $150 as-is.
