MachinMachinMan Pillar of the Community Australia 1985 Posts	Posted 06/30/2022 12:40 am I haven't found one since October 2020. I've noodled about 40 thousand 50c coins since then. Up until then I used to find one every 2 months or so. There are a finite number of them even if nobody knows for sure exactly how many that number is and they must be getting close to being completely noodled out of circulation. Yes,scarce these days,i had no trouble finding them in the early days of ebay in Oz but at the going rate(back then) of A$20-25 I sold them as soon as I found them.
