I have other shots but this is a die crack. There is way too much obvious raised metal to be anything else. However, you are welcome to your opinion and thanks for the response.

nope, it looks raised to me. (the shadow is on the 'north' side of the crack and the top of the head - (the light source is from the south)

Looks like another example of a die clash, that cracked that area of the Obverse die.
