Hey fellas, hope everyone is having a good night/morning... I'll get to it... Just opened a box of pennies and this was one of the first things that I saw when looking over the enders... Is this a die clash that has also been double struck or struck like 50%ish off center? I'm pretty sure it's real since the image isn't sunk into it like a vise job... Anyhow I'm curious to everyone's thoughts or opinions... As always I do appreciate any feedback on this coin... Thank you!

It appears to be glue or some other foreign substance with the impressions of other coins in it.

My guess is a cup holder coin, looks like someone spilled pop or something and several other coins left an impression on the coin, you can see where the letters go across Lincoln's face and they are mirrored much like you would see on a vise job. An acetone soak would most likely get rid of the gunk.

Not an error in any way, no matter what caused it, it is PMD.
Not worth the effort to soak it in acetone as it would still only be worth 1 cent

Agree with all above. A good soak in 100% acetone would likely clear most if not all of the crud away.

yep semi clear (amber) glue residue when another cent was attached to this one.
A nice Acetone soak should remove it. Or leave it because it looks cool

Not worth the effort to soak, in my opinion. A post mint damaged coin, no mint error, no big payday. Keep searching!

Just glue. Most of us when we see our first glue coin think we found something special, welcome to the club.
