Hi all,

I keep seeing posts from this forum as I try to learn more about coins and collectibles. So I decided to join!

I have a 1964 Jefferson nickel and it looks sharply defined and satiny. But as I've said, I'm a newbie. I appreciate your advice.

to the community! I would recommend asking this question in the US forums. You'll get a better response from the experts here.

Thank you, but I'm confused about how to do that. I see that I will need to dig around to figure out the rules.
Thanks for answering!
Rest in Peace

The photo of the obverse is somewhat dark and soft--difficult to evaluate. That said, your coin likely falls in the mid to high AU range. Decent album hole filler until better comes along.

AU-50 at best. Just a note: it is not a SMS coin and not FS=full steps.

I agree, a regular business strike nickel.
I say XF-45.

Just a typical nickel. Nothing special about the strike. :(
