Found a beauty of a quarter online, but I am suspecting that this coin is cleaned or altered in some way. I don't have much knowledge on quarters, so any help would be appreciated. Can you guys see anything?

I can't make out surface details well enough to determine if it's been cleaned.

Pictures aren't great.

So, bid on or buy the coin on the assumption that the coin has been cleaned and adjust your offer accordingly. That way when/if you get it you won't be disappointed if it has been cleaned.

If it hasn't been cleaned, and you are happy with it, you can congratulate yourself on the sharp purchase you made!

there appear to be vertical lines left of GW, and those could be hairlines from cleaning, sharper pics needed to be sure, otherwise that coin does not look cleaned to my eye

Probably cleaned, appears too glossy to be original.

Look for hairline scratches. It is was cleaned and polished you will see these.

But you might have to have it in hand to see these. But looks like a nice coin. Probably pricey.

Me I do not see a cleaned coin. A clean silver is more white. I see the age patina on this coin. Very nice grab, is a need for all quarters collections.

PS: Could be this coin was just boiled in water to take out the dust accumulation what mean it is not cleaned.

With the images posted, I'm not seeing clear evidence the coin's been cleaned--at least not in the last few decades.

I'm not sure it should matter. You've already said you think the coin is a beauty. So don't be afraid to buy the coin for your collection if that's what you want. Bid accordingly, and enjoy the coin if you get it. Just my Two Cents.
Rest in Peace
