this coin was rescued from circulation and has had a rough life
I think it's a CU-1c-1985-37 but it looks almost like 22

Okay class. "How do we know this is a real Die Cud?" Put on your thinking caps and see if you can figure this one out? Hidden answer below:
On a real Die Cud, there will be weakness opposite the area on coin. This will show up as weakness on that area. Do you see where the weakness is on this coin? Keep in mind that the weakness will be on the opposite side, but also on the opposite end of the coin. (because of the designs, being rotated on the U.S. Coins) Figure it out yet? (ENT on Cent)
Highlight the area between these two lines for the answer to this question.
