Here is the 1975 nickel I put in the safety deposit box 40 years ago . Probably because I didn't have a great forum to ask "what's up with this nickel " so I threw it in a box. So what's up with this nickel ? Lol TY

Not sure what you are referring to. Please be specific in your question.
All I see is a worn nickel with some vending/slot machine damage on the obverse.
Also looks like it has been struck from a worn die.

Agree. I'm seeing vending machine damage--and perhaps a touch of mechanical Coin Wrapping Machine Damage (perhaps...). Coin has seen much harsh use, possibly at an arcade.

to me it looks more like a 1974 D but perhaps there is damage to the date
