im just curious why is the lettering so big on my 2016 D penny especially the 6 and its probably worth only a cent but I am just curious of why

ok I appreciate it thanks and why would someone take the time to damage a coin? coinfrog it just seams like a lot of wasted time to me anyway thats just my way of thinking anyways

Because it was there and they thought they could alter the coin to make it look like a mint error? So when they realized it wouldn't be a seller, then they just spent it.
