Found this 2004 Denver mint Roosevelt dime strike through grease and weight 2.17 g and also missing (2 & 0 ) on 2004 and ( we tr ) on the motto in god we trust

I would soak it in acetone for a day or so and resubmit pictures.

If it were a Struck Through Grease error, the devices would be larger in size. I'm not seeing that on your coin. What could of happened is that the dies probably had an issue with Feeder Finger Damage to the dies. When noticed, the polished the dies and weakened the devices. This happens a lot.

Here is a polished die example of how it alters the coins devices after this polishing:

Note the reverse central area? This is from this polishing so strong on that area it looks flat like a frozen over pond. Note you can see the flatness and dull look from the die.

We see this often here, and that is what happened to your dime, before the loss of luster has left your coin. No need to clean it. That is what happened to the dies before your coin was struck. Circulation has altered the coin post strike until you received it.

the gunk on the coin and low resolution images make this one difficul to analyse, the acetone idea is a good one
