That is some impressive clashing, excellent pick up! It always takes me a minute to wrap my head around the counter clashes and how they occurred. I thought it was odd that they don't mention or show a closeup of the date transfer on the listing. I do see the mm you are referring to though and it's oriented correctly too, as far as it's direction, very confusing for me....
Very nice job on the pics, you got the perfect lighting and shadowing to make the clashes stand out.

Thanks for the comments CCF!
Thanks for the photo comments too as this error requires a lot of maneuvering and angling to get the right shots.

Yea that's a top notch die clash there! I recently purchased one myself. A Washington of course.

Thanks Willburton, I look forward to seeing that clash if you post it.
I forgot to mention that this coin weighs 3.18g and I assume that helps with clashed dies strength of design transfer. I think it would be interesting to know the weights of the coins listed on maddieclashes for this reason.

Here is more evidence of a counter clash not described in the listing. Black arrows indicate clashed event that transferred the design causing counter clash while the turquoise arrows show the counter clash. The "Y" is described in CCL(T1)-1c-1972D-01 but not the "T" because it was a later strike or circulation wear.

Excellent images and a superb pic. Congrats.
Is the extra Y peeking out from behind column 2 and the extra T column 1 in your last image part of the counter clash. Your images are so nice, part of the left arm of the T looks to be visible on column #1.

Thanks Petespockets55! It's been fun albeit time consuming getting photos of this error.
The Y in bay 2 and T in bay 1 on reverse are from the first clash and the second clash transferred those designs back to the obverse (counter clash). Look where the black arrow is pointing to in bay 1 then look at where the turquoise arrow is pointing to on obverse between the top of T and Y. The top bar of the T clash in bay 1 has a tip of the Y on the left and a tip of the T on the right overlapping it and the gap in between is where the turquoise arrow on obverse is pointing to. This should be a new listing but who knows when maddieclashes will start taking new submissions. This should also be listed in the atypical die clash section.
