Hey folks

What do you think this one would grade?

Thanks!

Shame about the gash across the face. I'd say AU-58 straight grade, but possibly MS-61 depending on how it looks in hand.

Scatter and gash on the face put this down to MS-62 I would say. Fields are relatively clean, esp. reverse.

the scratch is unfortunate and depending on how it looks in hand it may detail.. but I will say ms60 with a nice reverse

Is that a gash running across the lower extent of the eagle's breast?

Scratch may detail it. Obverse holds this one back to what used to be MS-60. May be a 61 today.

Large gash on obverse and possible wear keeps it AU.

I'll say MS details (scratched).

AU58/MS60. One of those two. Not worn enough for AU55 and too many scratches and marks for MS60 to MS62.

I'll say MS-60. Can't see it going higher with that scratch, which could details the coin.

Nice reverse which might grade MS-64 on its own. However, that's quite a gash across Liberty on the obverse. I've submitted coins to PCGS which were "detailed" for pretty minor scratches. This Morgan should definitely get an "MS Details, Scratched" grade.
