Size and weight are always helpful.

In the second photo the design element on the right looks a bit like the chi-rho symbol.

It's Islamic, an Umayyad AE fals of early post-reform type, struck somewhere in greater Syria, circa AD 700. The Arabic legends translate as "There is no god but Allah alone // Muhammad is the prophet of Allah".
