Obverse below the bust is a Rim Cud.
Trying to find out if it's a RPM or not.
There's not to many examples on the three sites.

The coin is pretty bright.
It's hard to get a decent shot without some glare or it's to dark to see clearly.
Probably to many shots of the MM but had to keep moving/adjusting lighting.

Can you tell if it's RPM or not?

@rob, that is pretty subtle if it is a RPM. Which one of the three known ones do you think it might be?

To me, it looks like MD on the mm and a Rim Fin, folded over. Always show the date, with the mm, it will usually tell the MD story, I think I see it on the tail of the 9 too, first pic.

Agree, slight MD and Rim Fin, pretty normal overall.

Well note the fields and design on the area above this? To me this looks like the die was over polished and affected the gutter on the rim.

The die was in a later die states before this die event.

CoopHome: What is a gutter on a die? the step down on a die that creates the rim on the coins. the rim protects the devices near the rim from wearing off on the coins, until the last die stages.

Thanks everyone for looking and comments.
I didn't see any like this on VV or Cuds. That notch at upper right had me wondering. I've always had problems with the S MM.
I'll have to wait for Cuds for around a year for JC to get back in business.
Thanks again for the help. It's really appreciated.
