So I found this 1994 d penny. I started looking at it and I noticed there is some sort of doubling on both sides obverse and reverse. Has anyone seen anything like this before? I'm posting some pictures I'm sorry my camera sucks but I did the best that I could. Please let me know what you all think!it looks like all the letters are on top of a ghost letter. It's in EXCELLENT CONDITION with an amazing tint to it.. hard to see in the pictures. Like I said I did the best I could. (Spent hrs trying to get good pictures) I wish the pics could show that toning. That's what originally caught my eye to the coin then I took a closer look when got home. I couldn't find anything online about these errors, it only just one or the other not both.(obverse or reverse) also wondering if something special, should get grades? I'm still somewhat new to all this . Only started collecting about 8 mos ago.. so I will take whatever advice y'all have. Thanks

DDD. On the single squeeze dies, the fields are affected with die wear. That is what you are seeing. This is a 4 stage process on these dies. It is stage 1:

to the CCF and One thing to learn is if you think you have a DDO and DDR on the same coin, you probably have neither. There are a few coins that do, But it's very rare to have both on one coin.
