Hello, I'm wondering if there is any additional value to this dime. The 'E' at the end of the word dime is not really visible to the naked eye. It is barely visible through magnifier/ microscope.
I assume there are different reasons that a letter or number on a coin could be weak or missing. How can I tell if this resulted from some kind of error in the processing or other such that it may add value?
I'd appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!

Note the tell tale sign? Note the bottom of the 'E' on DIME? You can see that device is wider than normal. So the grease fell on that area of the die, preventing almost all of that dies incuse device on that single device. Thus we can conclude that, that is what has happened.

CoopHome: How can your tell if a missing device is from a Grease Filled Die? the devices will be larger and missing with more grease on that area of the die, on the coin
