Correct. Note the flattening on those areas, are showing a removal of the contour of the normal devices. Note on the reverse how flat the fields area and the reduction of the devices are smaller than normal. (surface of the fields are dull) Looks like this may have had a sever polishing on the reverse die from either a clash or a Feeder Finger Event in the past. Now the die was rescued to be put back into work. The Brow on the obverse looks like there may have been a minor FFD issue on those dies recently on these dies.

ok thanks and I was wondering what them lines are and what that static looking stuff was I appreciate it thanks coop there is a lot to take in on coins now if I can remember everything you guys are teaching me about them

thanks I was just over there at the coop home speaking of CoopHome where are you from I seen where you said that you are where you get change with the D mint mark so you are out here in the west somewhere I'm from southern utah
