I agree it has the rough fabric of a hacienda token, but am not seeing an exact match in Plate XX of Eklund's Hacienda Tokens of Mexico: http://numismatics.org/digitallibra...95/nnan69119 I think that the denomination would be an Octavo. Never seen anything like it myself, I did have a small condo in Colima, Mexico back in the 1980's & 1990's but sold it, miss going down there (Manzanillo) such a beautiful area and great people. For some reason they consistently missed this one. One of Neal Utberg's books may list it. There is also a Pradeau (spelling?) book which may list it. Report this Post to the Staff
