Got to go through some rolls I picked up today at my LCS. Been so busy lately I haven't found the chance to go through anything I have laying around, but decided to put some time aside tonight to do so. Just one 1917 P roll in the mix but it produced this guy! There are some lamination troubles on the coin but I'd much rather have that than a cleaned or damaged piece. I do like the eye appeal of this one and it appears to be in a solid die state. Can't ever complain when finding one of these in a roll! This is the second example of this die that I have found myself, both times from a roll. Thanks for taking a look! -CH27 http://varietyvista.com/01a%20LC%20...7PDDO001.htm Collector of U.S. Coins, Varieties, and Colonial Coinage

That second T of TRUST is quite dramatically wide. Nice find.

Gotta love it when one of these pop onto the screen. Lots of separation still showing on WE TRUST. Congrats.

Thanks everyone! Always happy to see one of these, whether my find or another's. For what is considered a rare variety, I find I am quite lucky to have pulled two of those from rolls already. Waiting on that VF+ example to pop out at me, but I'm very happy finding these nice VG examples too. It's a standout DDO for me in any grade. Whenever a hunt is successful like this, I can't complain! -CH27

I was thinking just circulation flattening until I saw the "WE" photo. Great job and another separated from the chafe of junk wheats.
