Coins have been cold the last week or so with a few shield cent DDO and ddrs I found and a couple 2009 P Formative Years DDRs. Well I found this 1983 with a rotated die about 60° today and seeing if there is any numismatic value to these. Note: I flipped it left to right opposed to top to bottom so use the staples as a reference.

Very nice pick-up @cap. I'd look at prices sold on ebay for an indication of value. For sure worth protecting in a 2x2 as you have done though.

I was just happy to find one and I might just keep this. Usually always keep my first of's.

Nice one. Good eye picking up on it.

Ok, after researching how to find the degree of rotation and if I am incorrect please correct me. I did find a site that gave step by step on how to. With the info I used, this Lincoln Cent has a rotation of 125° Anyone here who knows more about these any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I like seeing in a 2x2. Using a mirror is OK, but harder to get an accurate rotation, from an angled image. Double check which way the 2x2 was flipped. Images suggest a possible medal flip (side to side) instead of a coin flip (top to bottom). http://www.rotateddies.com/ Thanks, Doug.

So, I made a Rudimentary compass with a little help from Epson, Tape and cardboard. Put it in a flip and put a line through the center. So would this actually be 60° +/-?

In a round about way you're pretty close. No need to change the 2x2 and mark it all up. Just switch to the coin oriented flip (top to bottom).
Note the rotoflip image. No matter if its going CCW or CW. Max is 180°.
Thanks, Doug.
