Not sure where this should be posted as technically, I don't think it is considered and error.
It's finish resembles that of the Sacs & Presidential dollars being Manganese brass.
However the dimensions and weight are off.
Weight 11.83 grams
Width 29.92 MM
Thickness 2.26 MM
Any thoughts?

It's possible that it is a foreign planchet.
Not Canadian though.

Yes, the other side side is identical. I figured oneside would suffice.

@dow, this is a perfect spot for this thread until we figure out what you've got there. My initial though was a blank for an arcade/batting cage token, but 11 g seems awfully heavy. See here for example:

My next best guess is that it is a blank medal on which you could fix stickers to personalize it for a specific event or competition.

Finally, this old CCF thread may be tangentially related:

It might not even be a coin blank, but rather, a token blank. Or even a blank token; perhaps it was issued like this.

Unfortunately I am not able to determine the specific gravity as I am unable to Tare my scale. The only function on this scale that has never worked properly is the Tare button. It always wants to calculate peices weighed. Like 100 cents, which is the button left of Tare.
It calibrates accurately with a 50 grm weight thru out all weight scales.
Sorry, no Tare!

A blank planchet would have to be the same weight as the struck coin.

Some low cost pocket scales purchased online have surprisingly good accuracy good enough for acceptable SG numbers.
They cost very little, a simple procedure works well enough for most needs that I've seen here, I'm surprised so many don't have or use them.
Maybe it's because others may not have much need, since perhaps such inquiries only happen once in a great while.
Maybe only one time then no more. I have a variety, and they're used nearly every day.
