1962 P Lincoln Cent Possible Doubled Die Obverse / DDO Or Die Gouge?

The area in question is a spot that doubling has occurred but the shape looks different. Just curious about your thoughts on this, doubled die or just simply a die gouge or scratch. -makecents- Report this Post to the Staff

Spence Moderator United States 34431 Posts	Posted 11/06/2022 8:08 pm Looks like there are a couple DDOs from 1962 where the T of trust has a little nubbin on the cross bar (e.g. -30 and -33), but this doesn't look quite like them. (always nice to see why they did list other examples, that was a broken hub issue) But considering that the broken hub was a different hub used and another time a different hub (normal) was used, does make it a DDO.
