@msa, it looks to me like Machine Doubling on UNITED STATES OF AMERICA as the devices are reduced in width.

An easy way to get immediate answers as to whether you have a doubled die, RPM, or OMM. Find them all listed here:
www.varietyvista.com

Scroll down, find the e-book for the coin you are looking for and take the links.

If yours is not listed then you probably have non-collectable doubling such as Machine Doubling or Die Deterioration Doubling (search these topics on this forum and at error-ref.com).
