I just came across this roll hunting. It appears to be a 1943 copper LWC, but that cannot be the case right? I got the best images below, it is definitely worn. I know I can't be that lucky but let me know what you think.

That's initially what I thought too, but you can see here is a 1942, and the 2 is even with the rest of the date, the one I posted is raised, like a 1943. Also, in 1942 the 2 is more rounded or squared, but mine is pointed like a 3 should be.

I'm torn between 1942 and 1947, not 1943 though.

The mint never issued a coin with the last digit a 3 that looked anything like that squiggle on your coin. I am struggling to see a 7, as one did. To me, clearly a 1942.

Given the pics posted, I'm seeing '42 on a well-circulated/damaged Wheat cent.

Not sure how you are seeing a three when it's clearly a two. Sorry, no premium.

I can see this being a 2 or a 7 as well. Looks like the last digit took a hit at the base that pushed metal around (creating the base of a "2" or it really is a 2).
Take a minute to look at the images posted. A clear closeup would be nice.

Based on the shape of the 4 and the distance of the last digit from the 4, a 7 seems more likely than a 2, but there's too much damage to tell for sure. I definitely don't see a 3.
