Jim0815 Pillar of the Community United States 5239 Posts	Posted 01/07/2023 09:17 am A couple of weeks back I bought a few rolls of Kennedy half dollars and this 1971 D Kennedy half dollar DDO-001 FS-101 was in the first roll that I opened. I am not a Kennedy guy as I have only a few FS coins in the series. My favorite being the 1964 D DDO-010. I am happy to add this one. Report this Post to the Staff

atrox001 Valued Member United States 311 Posts	Posted 01/07/2023 5:47 pm I don't think your half dollar is the 71D DDO-004/DDR-002, FS-101. Use these first three photos of the 71D DDO-004/DDR-002 from the one in my collection to compare with yours, you can see yours don't match. I think your half dollar would match the Stage C, 71D DDO-015 in my collection...note the die clash through HALF DOLLAR and the south-east die scratch through the bottom of the W and under the WE, last two attached photos.
