Skitz, I'd be interested in hearing about the provenance of these coins and how you came to acquire them.

Honestly I was going threw this little collection of coins my grandfather had I guess since he was younger ( my mother's family is from north Carolina so I'm assuming he might of found them and just kept them well he passed a couple years back and just recently I decided to go threw it all and those two coins fell out of a little bag. I have some knowledge of coins so I knew exactly what it was but because it be like hitting the lottery I thought it might have been a replica but I weighed it and the pine tree schilling is 72 grains and I apologize to the moderator for posting more then one item

Both are most likely cast counterfeits by the look of
Them .

They look like cast replicas to me.

I'm not an expert on pine tree colonials but just the the fact yours is that round AND centered would indicate it's fake.

I agree with replicas. Noe-1 the middle of the E's are supposed to have a crossbar; no expert just looking at real ones. I think these were commonly sold in souvenir shops and grandpa may have picked it up at Williamsburg or similar. Check the edge for a seam. Have a coin shop or jeweler do an XRF on it to see if it's silver and then you'll know.

Noe 1 is the single most copied pine tree shilling. Check for a seam as already stated.

I'm no expert but that is about the most perfectly round and centered Pine Tree I've ever seen. That is a little too much coincidence.
