RockieDog New Member United States 36 Posts	Posted 01/29/2023 08:47 am I got this coin along with some others a few years ago, this 1960 is in Really good shape & has a lot going on! I was clearing out a unit that the owner had passed away & we were told to throw everything away, needless too say I didn't throw away the coins! Dearborn Moderator United States 97227 Posts	Posted 01/29/2023 08:50 am I'm not seeing a DDO / DDR here, but that is a nice die chip on the 'S' I'm going to have to research DDO for this year. The images you provided aver very nice and clear and close, but you are not showing any of the location that would show a DDO, such as Liberty and the motto 'IGWT' In addition I cannot find any listings toy a DDR on a cent of this year/Mint. Otherwise--given the images posted--I believe we're looking at a common 1960 D (large date) memorial cent--perhaps in very early stages of Die Deterioration. Report this Post to the Staff

RockieDog New Member United States 36 Posts	Posted 01/29/2023 10:51 am Thanks for the welcome guys & I'm using a Leipan USB Microscope, I am almost certain it's a1960-D Large date, comparing it to the 1960-D DDO-001, 1-O-III & RPM-100 it has a lot of the same character traits! Perhaps the best aspect for comparison I can find is the zero in the date. For the DDO you reference, it is extra fat along a north-south axis and I'm not seeing that on your coin. Perhaps it is more obvious with the coin in hand? I look forward to some additional pictures and further discussion. Comments: Small date / Large date. Obverse is LISTED as RPM-100. FS-101/501 On the Real deal, there is a small date hub used and a large date hub used.
