Unfortunately, ebay will do nothing about any of this. I've tried and tried and tried. Forget about it. They want the money and insertion fees etc. That's all they care about. I'm pretty much through with ebay myself.

Yeah... some idiot used my 10 Swiss Francs pic to sell his. On mine (if you know my pics) there was text from my old APUSH text. I reported him. ahhh... that feels good!

It's funny how these scamsters have no original bone in their body. Using someone else's photo, give me a break!

Quote: Fortunately, you're wrong Show me where I'm wrong. Lets see what ebay does with this guy. I can assure you nothing will be done. In fact, weerdsteev, keep us informed. ebay seems to care about their bottomline, not fixing these problems. I've been a member of ebay since 1997 and have seen it go downhill dramatically and a lot of ticked off people to go along with that.

As I've said many times here, you must use the link in my sig, NOT the one on the auction page. I get at least 100 coin auctions pulled a week, whether you believe it or not.

I give it about a 50/50 chance of being pulled before the auction ends. In the old days, before ebay made all their grand changes, you could see who was bidding on it and contact the person and warn them off - not any more. Hey - this same seller's got some type of gold piece for sale. Anybody want to bid on it?

I was upset when ebay went to Paypal only payments. I understand though. Cuts out all the BS on "payment not received" complaints and so forth. Sellers can't leave negative feedback on deadbeat buyers! This and like you said, the grand changes plus all the fees has turned me off dramatically to ebay. Kind of like taking your business out of California because of the high taxes! Eventually, people get fed up.
